Tonetags may seem hard to remember especially if you're new to using them. However, there's a small pattern to tone tags. If you haven't noticed yet, all the tone tags contain the first or the first few letters of the tag. Here's an example;
The first letter of the word "joking" is j which in itself is its tone tag /j. Similarly, for "inside joke", the first letter of both the words is the tone tag /ij. Following the same sequence, you can notice this format in all the tone tags.
So, if you were to say something between the lines of "I love you" to someone in a friendly way, you can say it as
"I love you/p"
Wherein, /p stands for platonic.
